When I see architecture in Leicester I tend to find it quite boring because it has a common theme of dull colours for instance they tend to be browns, greys and blues which tends to put a dark feeling to it, it's quite unilluminating. The buildings also are quite old, you can see that paint has already started to flake off the walls, the wood splinters off the window panes and bricks have started to crumble and erode away. However, there are some buildings in Leicester are quite modern and futuristic for example Cinema De Lux has a interesting shape and it's made of reflective material which is quite eye-catching and attractive, especially to tourists. Overall, I think that every architecture has a meaning behind it whether it looks vintage or modern, it shows us what the architect wanted to see in real life and we get a sense of their vision. A building I really like the look of is the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir because it has very small and pretty details
